Directions from the harbor: Take bus number 1 to Kauppatori (the marketplace in the centrum), and from there take bus number 20 to Ylioppilaskylä (the student village). Drop off the bus at the spa hotel Caribia. Walk around the spa from the right following the walkway along the road. You will then see the school or signs reading NJC. The bus ticket costs 2,50€ and you can use the same ticket for one hour.

13.5.2009GOOD NEWS! As a last moment surprise guest we have finnish wonder man SAKARI MÄNNISTÖ. He will be performing in the public show with our other stars on saturday evening. Festival arrangements are going nicely. Alas, we cannot have the sauna, but for sauna hungry people there is always the spa hotel Caribia next door. More workshops confirmed also! Right on! 6.5.2009 BAD NEWS! We regret to announce that our Ukrainian guests cannot come to the festival! They have cancelled, because their schedules for the spring have changed. This is very sad news for us all, but we promise that the festival will be a great success even without our leading stars. Right now we try our hardest to get our money back for their flights. If we get them, maybe we can arrange some other cool things. Thumbs up! On the other hand the festival is coming together very good. Thank you for everyone who pre-registered, and paid in advance. We hope that everyone will still pre-register even though they will not get the discount. The more people pre-register, the better we can arrange everything. There is also a rumor going around, that there might be a sauna at the festival... To keep all of you smiling on the face of these sad news, I want to publish this great summery picture. 18.2.2009NEW ARTISTS CONFIRMED! We have a great pleasure to announce that the following jugglers FRIDA ODDEN BRINKMANN, OLLI VUORINEN and JOUNI TEMONEN will be performing in the public show with their own solo acts. Also performing at the barnight: jugglers KAJ-MIKAEL SCHÜTT, SAMULI MÄNNISTÖ, KALLE LEHTO, MARKO AKKANEN and handbalancer JUKKA GRÖNFORS. The program has also been updated and we are completing the artist section as we write. Also check out the new ACTIVITIES section to find out about the things other than shows happening during the festival. 
17.2.2009As you might have heard, juggler Alexandr Koblikov won a gold medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain. We congratulate Alexandr and remind everyone that he will be performing the winning act at the NORDIC JUGGLING CONVENTION 2009 at TURKU FINLAND! Let the good times roll! 
20.1.2009Good news! We confirmed the presence of the finnish juggling legend JANI SUIHKONEN! He will be performing in the public show with one of his many juggling numbers. Many other artists are also soon to be confirmed. 
18.1.2009Participation segment open for everybody! PREREGISTER NOW AND SAVE 10 EUROS! Great news for the festival: TORBEN WIGGER from Denmark will be participating the festival! We also made a special deal with Wigger: Everybody who participates the festival, gets three of Wigger's handmade beanbags FOR FREE! Torben Wigger will be also around for the whole festival, if you want to buy more exclusive handmade beanbags. We also confirmed, that HARRI VARPANEN will be having a workshop during the festival about The Mathematical Aspects of Juggling. 9.1.2009 Juggler KRISTIAN WANVIK confirmed that he will perform on the festival. Kristian is originally from Norway, but is now living in Finland. He just told us that he is now working on 5 ball mills mess 753, and that it is starting to look good... 
8.1.2009New artists confirmed! MATIAS SALMENAHO, the finnish muscleman and juggler is going to perform on the public show. Also confirmed juggler LAURI KOSKINEN from Turku Finland! Lauri just got back from Kiev Ukraine and is just leaving for Jay Gilligans course to Sweden. He'll be back in Turku with some fresh material for the festival. And last, but not least: RAULI KOSONEN! An acrobatic phenomenon from Finland. More artists to be confirmed soon. 20.11.2008 HOT news! The main guests have been confirmed for the festival: Yuriy Pozdnyakov and Alexandr Koblikov Yuriy Pozdnyakov is the juggling teacher and the head of the Kiev state college of variety and circus arts of Ukraine. One of his best known students is Viktor Kee. Alexandr Koblikov is one of Yuriy's students. He has gratuated from the college in the summer 2008. Together they will hold a workshop and Alexandr Koblikov will also perform his fresh ballroutine in the public show. 15.9.2008 The 25th Nordic Juggling Convention will be held in Turku Finland in the summer 2009. The festival will be held from thursday 21.5.2009 to sunday 24.5.2009, and it will take place at Katariinan koulu. The address is Kirkkotie 31, just behind the spahotel Caribia. Further details on how to get there from different locations will be explained later. We already have some artists signed up for the publicshow during the convention. Information will be released later. If you are interested in performing, having a workshop or doing something for the convention, please contact us.
